use to give customers their £5 for a £40 shop.
The process is quiet long it had started of being the customer or staff had to enter the date, time, store number and cashier number to get the information to see if they are eligible for the scheme on the internet.
Now they have to enter the barcode number of the receipt on the internet to to access their information about the offer.
Sooooo, I have come up with a design of instead of having the customers/staff having to enter information into the website is to have an app where the user just has to scan the receipt barcode and having the information run from the database and it uploads it with the comparisons from other retailers, discounts given and also be able to print, e mail or even scan the voucher from the app.
The concept I have come up with is not far fromt the original app but with some additions that would make the user experience a lot more easier and cut down printing and time spent at the store waiting for a member of staff to do it for them.
Here are the mock ups that I have drawn up for the pages of the APG service:
Above the page is the colour pallet of the headers and below that is the scanner page design. |
APG main page and the addition of some changes in how the T&C's are viewed to make the system cleaner and simple. |
Viewing the price comparisons of other retailers and the option to select a specific retailer to see the price differences. |
Voucher page and the option to print the voucher, email or scan direct. |
The app would be accessible on the iPad and other tablets seen as the screen is more suitable for this kind of information and style without having it all squashed onto a smaller screen.
